The crowds thin out considerably, making for a much more relaxed dining experience without the usual waiting time.
The ambience strikes a nice balance between modern and traditional. Bright interiors, clean seating, and an energetic atmosphere make it a comfortable spot whether you’re grabbing a quick meal or catching up with friends over coffee.
We started with the Filter Cold Coffee, which was smooth, refreshing, and carried the familiar depth of South Indian filter coffee while being perfectly suited to Mumbai’s humid weather.
The Ghee Idli Podi was easily one of the highlights of the meal. Soft, fluffy idlis generously coated in podi and drenched in aromatic ghee delivered exactly the kind of comforting flavour that has made the café famous.
Next came the Butter Masala Dosa—crispy on the outside, buttery throughout, and packed with a well-seasoned potato filling. Served alongside fresh chutneys and sambar, it was satisfying without feeling overly heavy.
To finish, we ordered the Rava Kesari, a classic South Indian dessert that was rich, fragrant, and mildly sweet. The texture was spot on, making it the perfect end to the meal.
